Governmental Agencies

Council of Ministers is the main body of executive power in Bulgaria. It includes the Prime minister, Deputy prime ministers and members - line ministers. The Prime Minister manages and coordinates the overall government policy and is responsible for it. He appoints and dismisses the deputy ministers. Ministerial duties are described in Chapter 5 of the Constitution.

There are other committees and agencies of Government and some of them have special status. Among the most important of these are the Energy efficiency agency, State agency for Investments, State energy and Water regulatory commission and etc.
