Building Heating Demand Calculator B

The calculator estimates heat energy demand of the building during the heating season. The heating demand calculations are based on the degree-days methodology.

Calculator Instructions

Select the country from the drop down menu “Location: Country” and insert the city or region in “Location: City or Region” to get the specific data;
Insert factor f1 value related with temperature comfort in the building (cell C5);
Insert factor f2 value related with time of operation of the heating installation (cell C8);
Insert factor f3 value related with heating installation control (cell C11);
Insert heating volume of the building (in cubic meters) – this is the volume of the building which is heating during winter season (cell C13);
The annual heat energy demand of the building under selected conditions and constant indoor temperature of 20^oC for different regions in Ukraine will be displayed in the table.
