Energy Cost Calculator

The calculator estimates expenses for production of 1 kWh heat energy from boilers using different fuel types. Typical input information for typical boilers is presented to facilitate initial estimations, if no relevant project information is available at this stage of the development. These initial input data should be replaced with more specific project information upon its availability.

Calculator Instructions

Insert the efficiency of a boiler for a specific fuel, but if you do not have the data, leave the current value;
Insert in the next cells the calorific value of the fuel type used in the production of heat, if relevant information is available;
Enter the price of the fuel per tonne (for liquid and solid fuels) or in normal cubic meters (for gaseous fuels); and
Estimated expenses for the production of 1 kWh heat energy from the boilers will appear under the “Cost” column on the left side of the table.
